Business Closure

Request for Business Termination
I. Documents required for the termination of a Sole Proprietorship or General Partnership:
1. Completion of Form D,
2. Copy of the owner's (owners') ID,
3. Original business certificate,
4. Confirmation from the Kosovo Tax Administration for the termination of the business.

II. Documents required for the termination of corporations:
1. Completion of Form D,
2. Publication in a high-circulation newspaper in Kosovo, in one of the official languages of Kosovo, with an announcement no smaller than 1/10 of a page. A copy of the newspaper must be submitted and, after 30 days, the following documents are completed,
3. Confirmation from the Kosovo Tax Administration for the termination of the business,
4. Decision on the liquidation of the corporation,
5. Decision on the appointment of the Liquidator,
6. Report on capital assets,
7. Original business certificate,
8. Copies of IDs of the owner(s) or passport copies if the owner is a foreign citizen,
9. Decision for voluntary dissolution of the Corporation,
10. Certificate from the Basic Court.
All these procedures are conducted according to the Law on Business Organizations No. 06/L-016, Articles 114 and 212.

III. Documents required for the termination of a branch in Kosovo:
1. Completion of Form D,
2. Publication in a high-circulation newspaper in Kosovo, in one of the official languages of Kosovo, with an announcement no smaller than 1/8 of a page,
3. Confirmation from the Kosovo Tax Administration for the termination of the business,
4. Original business certificate,
5. Copies of the owner's ID and the director(s)' ID,
6. Decision for the voluntary termination of the Branch.
